When it comes to film and television production, it’s fair to say that Richard Hearman has done it all.

Richard is one of Australia’s leading filmmakers, with a wealth of experience in all forms of film and TV production. He’s directed and produced TVCs for over 20 years at locations all over the world, developed large format 3D projects and technology for IMAX, directed and produced the TV series pilot Unstable for Renegade Films, guest lectured at many of Australia’s major film universities, won major awards both internationally and locally and his latest achievement was performing the role as the lead producer of the internationally acclaimed feature documentary Rise of the Eco-Warriors, nominated for a 2014 SPAA award.

Richard’s real passion is collaborating with likeminded creative people and producing outstanding work that communicates clearly and above all entertains. Alongside his commercial work, he is currently developing a number of new projects including a 13 part TV series as a co-production with Singapore production company Silver Media Group.

An excellent leader and communicator, he is renowned for being well organised and is an invaluable member of any team. During 2016 he produced and directed the NOVA 100 Tribunal TVC for Renegade Films, produced and directed numerous productions for a range of faculty’s at QUT and line produced a Nissan TVC campaign for Whybin TBWA.

As well as directing and producing his own projects, since 2001 Richard has also produced TVCs with directors Darren Ashton (Syd), Julius Avery (Syd), Chris Begley (Taiwan), Sean Byrne (LA), Hayley Cloake (LA), Jeff Gaunt (Bris), Marcus Hamill (Syd), Keri Light (Syd), and James Teh (Vietnam).
